That is a fair question. That is actually the only valid question. I think Calzaghe. Roys style was so dependent on speed. Something that was clearly enhanced by his drug use. Without speed Roy is not worth much. That is basically his whole arsenal.
94/95 Roy Jones Jr. would beat a prime Calzaghe any day and in case you didn't know most people consider the Super Middleweight Jones to have some of the fastest hands in the history of boxing just ask James Toney
So much speculation. Styles make fights, obviously. Calzaghe's style is a nightmare for Jones, probably even prime Jones. And prime Jones would have had much better movement and avoided a lot of Calzaghe's shots, and returned his own. And then there's the whole issue of chemical enhancement. But, who can say. Water under the bridge. I'm more interested in Hatton v Malignaggi or Taylor v Lacy, at this point.
94-99 Jones Jr vs 2001-2006 Calzaghe? Jones Jr in dominant fashion. 2001-2004 Jones Jr vs 2001-2006 Calzaghe? Calzaghe by close decision
