I agree here, Prime RJ beats Calzaghe. This is a no brainer

The real sad part is that there is NO REASON these two shouldn't have met, in their primes. Joe-C seems to have aged better (boxing-wise), but RJJ (though I never have cared much for him) was a FREAK of nature, back in the day! Its just a crying shame that this is a "what-if" thread, instead of a historical one.

168 may have been RJJ's most effective weight, though he moved up and still won titles at LHW and HW, as well; Joe-C, on the other hand, has stuck at 168 (and his backyard) forever.

after saturday i pick CALZAGHE i feel he is P4P #1 just my opinion. but RJJ was something SPECail in his prime but CAlzaghe raised his game and eleveted it in that fight saturday they were both evenly matched after the 4 calzaghe went to another level. kessler tried but could do nothing as each time kessler rose his level Calzaghe kept on raising his...

SUm striaght DBZ **** if you ask me great fight i think Calzaghe WOuld do the same to RJJ after SATurday but B4 sat i would of said RJJ

any one can use a bad performance to predict a fight. i think it would be a great fight betwwen him and JOnes

it wouldn't be an easy win for either of them . either one could really win but i lean towards CALZAGHE as he strikes me as one of those rare fighter that can RAISE ther game as there opponetsriase there game they continue to do so as well and just take it to another level

Don't forget...what happened to MG in the rematch!

Anyone could easily bring up Joe-C's difficulties against ROBIN REID, and say, "Well if RR gave a PRIME Joe fits, what would RJJ have done to him?"

I'm not a RJJ fan, in any way, and loved seeing him get floored by Tarver, but he rarely lost a ROUND, in his prime. Also, consider that RJJ may have been at his MOST dominant at 168.

really KEssler aint no JOke in his futre you will see what type of fighter he is he isn't as great as Them but JC beat his young up and comming fighter for his 21st defence and convincingly

however B-HOP lost his by Dubious SD but still lost to his young LION (i feel B-hop was robbed Twice)

Kessler is better then JT and i feel at any stage he would beat TARver had jones had fundemental he would of beat tarver to hell in his prime. he would always have trouble with tarver but i feel he would still beat tarver
