Would Camacho just do to Duran what SRL did to Roberto his Fight #2?

Got a feeling Hector would just dance around Roberto and peppering him from his southpaw style all night long.

    Duran just too slow.

    Camacho 9-6 rds UD.

    Camacho pre-Rosario I think wins a decision.

I believe Camacho`s speed and movement were give anyone a problem. He was smart and he really had no ego in the ring once the bell rang. He would move, hold, do what he had to do.

Duran at Lightweight brought speed of his own. Good handspeed and very fast on his feet moving in. Like a Cat in his movements. This isnt Duran plodding around the ring at `54 looking to counterpunch this would be a Tiger let loose.

I think that Duran woud do what Rosario did but much worse and much earlier in the bout. Like maybe by the 5th or 6th round. Hed catch him with a big shot and Hector would have to make a buisness decision too early.

Duran TKO 9th. Camacho quits on his stool to avoid the stretcher.

Duran would land the harder punches over and over as Camacho became more and more ineffective, hopping around and failing at ambushing Duran, who would simply counter and follow up. He may be frustrated early on by Camacho's movement, but it's only a matter of time before Duran starts exploiting the pattern and cutting off the exits to unleash damaging blows.

Camacho would definitely give Duran trouble with his movement, like he would anybody. However, at LW, Duran inevitably finds his groove. It will be just a matter of time before Camacho begins feeling the effects of a pissed-off but controlled Duran attack. Duran would take it by a comfortable points margin, most likely, as a battered Camacho is lucky to go the distance.

Camacho is a hard guy to figure. pre-Rosario and 130 pounds he was great and looked destined for ATG status. Then Rosario made him safety first but still effective. Safety first against Duran would not work. I am thinking more the Ramirez -Camacho we saw. Fast and had good power.

Have you ever seen a Duran lightweight fight? He was really fast, really cute and really powerful.

If Greg Haugen can outslick you, Duran is going to kill you.

you are right about that . Anyone Haugen could beat Duran would easily beat, but the Camacho who fought Ramirez was not as gunshy and would have made it very interesting.

It would be interesting to see how soon Camacho would grow frustrated when he finds so many of his flurries catching only air. Its not something he was used to. Sugar Ray found out about it.

The way Duran could slip and roll even as he was on the attack.

On the other hand I think Duran woud miss alot early but his accuaracy would increase as the bout wore on. Punishing the body and cutting down Hector`s speed as they move into the midrounds.
