    Hi Richard, I believe a prime Basilio was a greater pound for pound fighter than Zale but I reckon " the Man of Steel " was a bit too big and strong and hit too hard for Carmen.

    I reckon it would have been a great war whoever won.

    Zale fairly easily. He is often underrated because he was a bit past his best for the Graziano fights. The big, strong, natural middle takes it, although I like the onion farmer too.

    I think Zale would be too strong for Carmen and would break him down over the course of the fight.
