    Haye hits very hard

but he is a terrible finisher

he gets wild and stupid doesnt know how to jab or go downstairs with a hurt man just head hunts

Byrd doesnt hit hard but with openings like that he will land combos and look good

eventually he takes over when haye is frustrated and maybe even tired

I totally agree. Byrd has good enough defence to tire Haeye out and then land enough in the latter rounds to make a UD out of it. Byrds chin was very good.

Good post! Only one point I disagree with. Think Byrd KO's Haye in the 6-9th round.:deal

Are you comparing Ibeabuchi to Haye? Ibeabuchi was one of the hardest heavyweight hitters and all time, and Haye has decent power.:patsch

Also Ibeabuchi had balls, Haye on the other hand...

Byrd was one of the better boxers of the past 20 years. He just fought over his weight. He was a cruiserweight....and a real good guy.
    Byrd wins on points.

More like one of the most over-rated fighters in heavyweight history.

byrd's jazz bassist looking ass would slap haye around. literally. those wild swinging punches are a wet dream to a guy like chris.

Prime Chris Byrd was damn near unbeatable against anyone who is not over 6' 5" and has the last name of Klitschko.

My gut tells me Haye would win a decision, but look really sloppy.

For some reason I see Haye catching Byrd when down on the scorecards in the mid rounds.
