Byrd. I don't really fancy Herbie against anybody of this calibre. Especially Byrd who had a good chin, he'd be too consistent and would catch up with Herbie blowing out of his arse in the middle rounds.
Byrd by stoppage in the late rounds. One of the most underrated heavies in the past few years for me.
He would win IMO but I don't see him securing a stoppage. Byrd had great powers of recovery. How the **** he was even on his feet after taking the shots he took against Ike I'll never know. For someone who should've been a light heavy at nest, Byrd had skills and bollocks. An old timer for sure, and definitely underrated. I've seen a couple of people say Lennox 'ducked' him though. Can't see that being the case, good as he was he'd pose Lewis next to no problems IMO.
