Yes. I just felt the need to put further emphasis on the point, because there are certain posters here who just don't get it.

Quarry was shot, a drinker, perhaps a drugger and had an f'd up back. He really was a waste of potential in a lot of ways. Certainly a sad, sad story. And his dad was a world class *******.

I didn't know that about his father. Father's have a very big influence on their sons. I know from personal experience. I take to heart what my father says. All you want to do is make him ultra proud of you. It never goes away.

I agree, Quarry was spent for Norton and although Kenny was a bit of a rhythm breaker I do not see him getting past the Quarry who dominated a Prime Ron Lyle, Mac Foster and Earnie Shavers

Williams would have given Jerry some early issues but I think Jerry get to him

When Jerry was young and strong he was mismanaged by his abusive father who was almost as bad as Cooney's dad. Later on when he was physically slipping he had good training and became smarter more patient. He did have trouble with Frazier and Ali mentally and they had a bit more speed than him and there was a difference of really good and great and great where Ali and Frazier but Jerry was really good lets face it he blew out Shavers in 1, Dominated Ron Lyle, Dominated Mac Foster and beat several other good heavyweights. I think Jerry had a good chance to be Foreman's kryptonite as well if given the chance
