You mean the Joseph Parker that went life and death with a old gatekeeper Chisora and got a gift decision ? LOL Prime David Haye would send him to asgard
Haye either knocks him out or sends him into survival mode content to just see the final bell and lose a wide decision. Haye is simply the more complete boxer, superior technical skills, better all round game, more power and better defensive skills.
Haye was rubbish. Parker's proven to be nothing special either. It would be a dull fight, neither would want to engage much. Could go either way.
Yeah, but Chisora just comes straight ahead. It's probably Haye's best win at heavyweight. I'm quite sure it is. Everyone else Haye beat was old or already discrdited. Haye wouldn't do that to Parker though. Parker and Haye would both be cautious and produce a dull close fight.
Haye KO. Prime Haye was very underrated. However, where he came up from cruiser, I don't think he could mix it with the bigger HWs, e.g. AJ.
Haye was an overrated hypejob and Parker is a limited slugger with a bit of athleticism. Neither man is exactly going to be putting on a scintillating display here. If the Haye that fought Ruiz, Valuev, and Wlad shows up against any version of Parker from the last three years I'd pick him to outpoint him in a cagey ambush type affair. Might even get a knockdown if he catches Parker cold. If it's the Parker from before that it might be a bit more interesting. That guy had fire and a ton of aggression. This current version though is pants, and I wouldn't back him to beat anyone half decent in a fantasy fight without heavy reservations.
You're probably right it would most likely be dull for the most part until one of them lands something big. So long periods of very little action with the odd moment of excitement. Haye's a natural counter puncher, that's his whole style, make guys come to him and counter them coming in which is why his best wins are against guys that come to him like Chisora. Parker isn't a counter puncher but he lacks the skllls to land without leaving himself vulnerable and so isn't able to sustain his work rate without taking shots in reply.
Man I think this fight would be a total stinker. Neither guy willing to engage or take initiative. But Haye would probably eek it out with a few big moments in an otherwise dull affair.
