Haye, just like his pal, Khan, is pretty easy to get to on the inside. We saw glimpses of a shot Ruiz prove this. Even Tyson, when reviewing Haye’s fight against Ruiz, noted Haye’s weak defence and his vulnerability to being tagged by a lively, offensive fighter. That right hand of his is nonchalantly kept up, and I dread to see him on the end of Tua’s murderous left-hook. Haye's best chance would be to box and be constantly moving. But as we know, his stamina isn't great, and he won't be able to keep it up for 12 rounds. If Tua doesn't het him early, he'll get him later on. Prime Tua by stoppage.
Tua by decapitation, may take him a few rounds to find a home for that left hook and haye will probably win those rounds, but once it lands, game over me thinks
not a haye fan at all but he wins this pretty easily by ud hes too fast for tua hes not gunna land his slow leaping left hook on haye a blind man can see that punch coming
i could see haye's speed giving tua problem, but keep in mind that tua has good stamina and he is known for late rounds knockouts, while haye has stamina problems...i could see haye winning some rounds, but tua eventually catches him and knocks him out worse than ruiz
American forum-Tua wins by Devistating early KO Every other nationality-Haye Hate Haye as much as you like but he would dominate Tua. Tua had devistating power but so has Haye amongst a million other things. People that say todays version of Tua would beat Haye need to stop watching Youtube clips and watch a full boxing match. For the record i think haye is a bellend but lets get real!!
All Haye has to do is utilise that Left hook....then game over. A win for Haye. People make Tua out on here to be like some prime Tyson, the mans a one trick pony, no doubt he has power and if he catches Haye clean there would be trouble. But like i said utilise that Left Hook.........everything points to Haye
Until Haye proves he can handle someone as dynamic and powerful as a prime Tua, I say Tua ices him and fairly early. Haye is the most unproven highly-rated heavyweight champ I've ever seen. This guy is all hype.
I take it you mean neutralise the left hook. Which would be pretty difficult for Haye to do, as like Ive mentioned, he has habit of keeping his right hand low. Hayes not a defensively astute fighter, and I dont think he has it in him to go 12 rounds avoiding and blocking Tuas bombs. If I was Adam Booth and this prime Tua was around today, Id keep Haye well away from him.
Haye's defence sucks. His fans claim he has great footwork, but he doesn't. What they see is him running away from dangerous fighters in the ring. That is neither good footwork nor good defence. He is also shitty at defending with his hands. They are too low, and when they are high he has holes. Haye is very hittable. Tua was good at hitting. Add those together and it is less than 5 rounds before Tua lands something that puts Haye to sleep. Prime Tua didn't only have relentless stamina, he also had an iron chin. Haye would need to run, and run and run in a hope of wining. But even when he runs as much as he did against Valuev he still got tagged. Sorry, but if that is prime Tua doing the tagging, then Haye is a dead man. Think about it - even seeing Haye at his absolutely most disgraceful in a ring, running for his life, he still got tagged. There is no way he could survive against prime Tua. None.
We're talking the pre Ibeabuchi Tua, who had his weight under control and didn;t plod around slowly looking for an opening for a left hook. The early and prime Tua bodypunched a lot more and tended to let more combos go. I pick Tua because even if he catches Haye with a glancing blow the power difference and poor footwork of Haye will probably throw him somewhat off balance and Tua would capitalise. And anyone who thinks Haye is going to stop/kayo the prime Tua...go and watch the Ibeabuchi and Lewis fights. If he can take those punches he'll take Hayes.
