One person said that he still believe that a prime Kostya would have put a prime De la hoya to sleep. I laugh at it cause i just can't see it. Kostya was a great fighter no doubt but beside his power, he's easy to get it and don't have better boxing skills like De la hoya has. If they would have fought prime vs prime at 140 or 147 pounds, Oscar wins it by either late tko or ud.

KT would be badly outboxed by the much bigger, longer, faster fighter in Hoya before the towel would be thrown in late. Not to mention, Hoya would be in his absolute physical prime at the weight.

Oscar on points...I see him playing it pretty safe against a guy like Kostya.

Tszyu will stalk him and hit him enough with the right to keep him wary but the hand and foot speed difference it going to tell in this one.
Oscar keeps out of trouble and racks up enough rounds early..Popping the jab out and flurrying to punctuate rounds..both guys fade late but I think Oscar has enough in the tank to finish stronger aswell.

I just cant see Tszyu winning this more often then Hoya does.

ok i will give my honest opinion,

I think that a prime Tszyu could have taken DLH best shots and for the record im much more a DLH fan than i am a Tszyu fan :good

I couldnt see DLH winning unless he just outboxed Tszyu from the outside and won on points, I just think he would have KO'd oscar possibly from tearing in to his body, especially at 140, you asked for opinions and i gave you mine coming from a big DLH fan

It was me who stated that Oscar whould go to sleep and i'll stand by that Zoo had a rader on his bomb's and he whould have caught Oscar and as good as De La Hoya was i still think 7 pounds north of his kingdom Zoo stops Oscar , just a dam shame the fight never come off

Kostya is pretty underrated H2H these days.

many people who never say oscar in his prime truly underestimate his boxing greatness. they only see a badly drained, washed up oscar getting pummelled by the much smaller pacquiao. a prime oscar beats up on a prime tszyu and prime pacquiao anywhere anytime.

I agree with that , there is no way Pac Beats De La Hoya at 140 - 147 - 154 in his prime De La Hoya brutal KO everytime

oscar by ko...obviously if he got hit flush tsyzu has the power to stop him ...but noone ko'd ODLH in his prime so i would think he wins by wide UD or late tko with a wicked left hook...for the youngins in here...ODLH was the **** 10-15 years ago

There is no way Oscar would fight Kostya like that..Vince had to walk through some serious hell to grind down Tszyu.

Oscar would be much more content boxing behind his jab and using his legs. Which actually suits Tszyu better because he has room to work and fight at a pace he is comfortable with..Which would would make him dangerous for longer and why I see Oscar boxing to victory rather then risk trying to engage Kostya enough to force the stoppage.
