I think Kostya gets outboxed & De La Hoya wins on points. However, if Oscar gets caught with thar right its over for him! Tszyu hit extremely hard!

If Miguel Angel Gongzalez can go the distance with prime De la Hoya I think Tszyu will manage.

Not to mention that MAG is not a big puncher, and his shots seemed to be bothering ODLH. Plus, history has shown us that ODLH has always choked against fighters in their primes. He has not won ONE big fight that involved a prime fighter. Although he's won his fair share of fights against Tito's leftovers, smaller or past-their-prime fighters.

I guess everyone keeps overlooking the performance Kostya had against Forrest. Even if it was in the amateurs, Forrest is one highly skilled fighter, and in my book Kostya handled him in darn good fashion. Forrest in my book, is a better technical fighter than DLH ever was.

    Very true.
But Oscar went the distance against Trinidad at 147 and that right hand will have to be considered more dangerous than Tszyu's.

As to my own call, who knows? Tsyu's right hand vs Oscar's left? It really depends on the styles and like Tito and Oscar a perfect fight between two great punchers might end up quickly turning into a chessmatch, evading each other's power punch. In a chessmatch though Oscar wins. I don't think either one would engage blindly with the other and therefore no ko by either guy in this fight. I call Hoya by decision.

How do you mention MAG and then say Oscar has not won one fight with a big name? The big names that beat Oscar became big names because they did defeat Oscar. That's why the losses look so much bigger than the wins on his resume. The highlighted section of your post is the funniest. There is just no way in no you would mentally give the guy credit for anything.

I wouldn't classify MAG as a great fighter. He's a solid B+ fighter who went the distance with DLH. The only reason DLH went the distance with Tito is because he ran. Did you not watch that fight?

Running and smart boxing aren't the same things. You might call it running because the only way for Tito to have won was in a brawl which didn't happen. Instead Tito got exposed for the first time.

I think he stops him very early. Any fighter when Hoya was prime that tried to be aggressive was hurt. Zoo is no Mosley and would give up a considerable size and reach advantage.

Well, I guess I'll agree to disagree. DLH may have won the first half of the fight with his ten second flurries, but Tito won the last half of that fight by chasing DLH through all 50 states.

Anyhow, I'll still take KT prime-for-prime at 140.
