Lewis v Vitali was Elite v Elite in a cracking 50/50 fight and Lewis came through by the skin of an eye. Seen the best uppercut ever meeting the hardest chin in the business. How on earth can any Tony Dosh PPV pudding fights compare to this win - his biggest win is against a 41 year old robot with 18 months inactivity.
The Dull Boy Pakora telegraphed overhead right would have Tony Dosh PPV searching the canvas for his soul if it landed
Pre Fury Wilder 2 the general consensous was you cannot let Wilder in range to land the big right otherwise you will be knocked out cold like everyone he has fought except Fury. No one could work out a way he could be beat except if an opponent landed a knock out punch early as if fight goes on Wilder will knock his opponent out at some point. Fury then came up with an idea changed trainers changed his style completely and created a blue print to beat Wilder. So lf anyone else beats Wilder it is not nearly as big as achievement as Fury beating him. Plus Fury battered him silly so he wont be same fighter.
Wilder was overrated something chronic to be fair. He was outboxed more often than not when he was getting toward 'elite' level even though his record is filled with nobodies. Fury deserves massive credit for proving it to be fair but I always thought Joshua just blows him away anyway by doing the basics and going after him early. Wilder's fans with their 'oh but he's so unpredictable and unorthodox' patter. Yeah, punching the same way Courtney Walsh bowls may indeed be unorthodox but it's not going to work.
how someone as limited as wilder went so long unbeaten is down to very astute matchmaking and luck imo because he's been in trouble in numerous fights against the likes of spzilka,Washington,Ortiz, to name a few.but he's been well and truly found out now and will never be regarded as an ATG or HOF ffs..it's preposterous.you have every right to believe fury is the no1 moog I'm sure lots would agree with you but you're trying to put lipstick on a pig by bumming wilder tbh.
Nonsense. Wilder was unique as people could not work out a style to beat him. But to downplay dismantling the biggest puncher ever is wrong.
The fact Wilder put Fury down twice proves he is a danger to anyone in the division. Who is harder to hit in the heavyweight division than Fury?. Nobody. If he can hit, hurt, and put down Fury he can certainly KO Joshua.
Tony Dosh PPV is the ideal opponent for Wilder - no punch resistance, poor stamina, broken heart and easy to hit. Will not be too long before he wears Hughie Fury's skirt
I'd love to entertain this idea. Chisora is my favorite heavy after Fury. I love how old school the guy is, losses don't discourage him in the slightest, he just bounces back and goes again. Has bag, will travel, too. And he actually desires to be British, lauds his toughness and courage as British qualities, expresses his appreciation of the land which gave him opportunity and typically emblazons the nation's banner all over his ring attire instead of tattooing some faraway continent which didn't make him wealthy or famous on his deltoid.
I get people not liking Joshua but have no idea why you think he's as bad as this. My brother is equally as derisive and I have no idea why. Joshua's a solid boxer puncher who has won most of his fights against good competition pretty well. Other than dumbass Breazeale there is no-one of any note of has hasn't regularly and well on Wilder in the early running so I have no doubt that Joshua's regimented textbook style would allow him to land on Wilder at will early doors. Couple that with him being able to punch himself and you've got Wilder looking down the barrel of an early stoppage loss.
I may not even be aware of the incident to which you refer. Assuming we're thinking of the same thing, didn't he give her ass a spanking going on ten years or so ago? Mine likes that.
Tyson Fury schooled a 10 year reigning champion in Wladimir Klitschko, in Germany. Anthony Joshua went life and death with an inactive Wladimir Klitschko, in the UK. Tyson Fury has defeated Deontay Wilder twice, in the USA. Anthony Joshua's next best wins, all at home, come absolutely nowhere near. He beat the likes of Carlos Takam, who got knocked stone cold by Dereck Chisora, who Tyson Fury has whooped twice (many years ago). He beat Alexander Povetkin, who is old, short and has never held a legitimate world title. Alexander Povetkin went life and death with flabby cruiserweight Michael Hunter. Anthony Joshua was embarrassed by 5'11'', obese Andy Ruiz, being knocked all over the ring and then quitting. And you have the gaul to claim Anthony Joshua is number 1? Laughable.
I don't hold wilder in the same regard as you.12 years as a professional and his only legit win is Ortiz who's best win is Gerald Washington.joshua has a better resume than fury.and I'm not saying fury is no1 for a win 5 years ago.
