    Wilder vs Molina
    Maskaev vs Okello Peter

Which one was the worst WBC title defence of the recent history?

Maskaev knocked out your boy Rahman twice and I think Rahman was better fighter than wilder. Bum squad!

Oleg was good in his days, but he was KTFO'd like 5 years ago in 1 round by green Nagy Aguilera.

And like year ago he went life and death with Jason Gavern and Danny Williams :huh

You are reffering to his both fights vs Rahman, who put Lewis to sleep with one shot. :smoke

Yes, it's really WEIRD, considering that Lance Whitaker and Kirk Johnson knocked him out cold with a couple of shots, and Corey (not Corrie!!!) Sanders dropped him and stopped seconds later (needed only few shots, too).
Oh, and 1st round KO losses to McCall and Aguilera.

Really weird how Rahman wasn't able to drop him as he landed very good shots in both fights.

Maybe Oleg just has his number

As I recall, the shot from Johnson that was a monster of a left hook that landed completely flush, in a fight Oleg had been dominating, and got reckless. At that point in time, Oleg was widely viewed as the 3rd best heavyweight behind Lennox and Evander. Had he not lost to Johnson, it may well have been him and not Rahman who got the crack at Lewis in South Africa.

Against "Goofi" (during Lance's brief pairing with Rock Newman), in his very next fight I think, he got dropped hard by what appeared to be arm shots without much umph behind them.

I guess Oleg's chin wasn't too good on the whole, and for whatever reason he was just able to see Rahman's punches well on delivery, which enabled him to take his shots better. I still think I remember seeing Maskaev taking some good shots (maybe a few against Tua?), but now that I think about it - I can't think of any!

And I'll never forget him losing to Corey T-Rex.

    :smoke

    Good match up, Rumsfeld!

I'm going with Maskaev by KO/TKO. Maskaev had a tighter game than Wilder does, at least for now. But Maskaev could get cracked on occasion. Would be fun while it lasted but I think Maskaev wins.

Both guys especially Rahman proved themselves against guys who would flatten Wilder... You don't know what you're talking about.
