    Who wins?

The way I see it, Dokes with his hand speed, will outpoint Evander but only if scheduled for 12

I’d still take Evander, only this time it might be a decision. Dokes would make it more if a boxing match but he fought very close terms with Tex Cobb, Ossie Ocasio and an aged Mike Weaver.

Evander still wins it. Better fighter.

Even a younger Dokes is outdone by Holyfield. Still a cracking fight, which might have ended up being a little closer in rounds and perhaps go the distance.

But Holyfield was essentially outmaneuvering Dokes in their actual fight and I doubt that would change in any other scenario between them.

Keep in that in their actual fight, Dokes was years past his best, with his hand speed greatly diminished.

A disciplined and in shape Dokes, WILL take the decision while an out of shape Dokes ( see Weaver 2, Coetzee) loses on late tko
