Alright fellas, who do you got? I most likely will be in the minority because I think prime 135 pound Floyd Mayweather Jr. boxes the socks off prime 135 pound Roberto Duran.

Mayweather's worst nightmare. A rough tough fighter like Castillo gave him his hardest nights so imagine what a snarling hands of stone would have done. Duran UD

Duran would have run him out of the ring, a very good boxer/puncher.

    Duran UD

You're definately in the minority and I would go so far as to suggest you probably haven't seen Duran fight. This would be a one sided Duran beat down, simply because Floyd doesn't have anything to stop Duran with. Fact is Duran's coming at him, and coming at him hard, and there's no way Floyd's going to be able to simply outbox him, he has to be able to get his respect, by throwing power shots, and if he can't hurt Duran, he's not stopping him. Duran didn't just have power, he also had a great defense, at least as good as PBF, and great boxing skills. What he was expecially good at was staying in the pocket avoiding getting hit (or taking the punch if necessary) and throwing back something hard.

Could you even imagine the staredown.....man it gives me the shivers.

One thing is for sure Mayweather would be keeping his mouth shut.

duran would be the worst style matchup for floyd. duran would of been like a hellish version of jose luis castillo and had very underrated defense, speed, and boxing skills. duran definitely had more power and a great chin, but i can't see floyd beating roberto on the inside or even on the outside. it would be very competitive, but supposing they were both fighting on their best nights, duran's pressure was nonstop and add one of the hardest right hands that could drop a horse, it's late tko or unanimous decision for duran while floyd would run or hold on for dear life.

Mayweather is a great fighter,no doubt about it....But Duran was on a whole different level....He gave Hagler hell, and was the first man to last the distance with him

Floyd and Duran would be competitive, especially in the late rounds, but I see the fight going the distance and Duran winning a clear decision ova Floyd

and KCD,Mayweather will always be Mayweather,No matter who you are,Trust me,He would have never stood shut against Duran,he def wouldve let him have it

prime duran already had one loss. pbf would use that as an excuse not to fight him.

cholo would lay constant pressure cutting the ring all night. and living in floyds chest. duran was not the fastest of starters, so i see it competitive early. but once duran sees that floyd has nothing to keep him honest he steps on the gas. clear decision over 12, dejesus type stoppage over 15

Duran wins this 1 on points. I think it would definitely be competitive.
