    96 Tyson destroys Shavers.

I would argue that any version of Tyson pre-Brian Neilson would stop Shavers. Mike, even when he was past his prime, still had a much better chin and defense than Shavers.

96 Tyson is underrated, he’d run a train on Shavers no problem at all.

The two of them immediately engage ring center launching bombs like submarines firing a barrage of torpedoes. Shavers would have his moments cracking Tyson with with some vicious hooks and right hands. Tyson's body shots and uppercuts would rock Shavers' world and break him down. By round 2, both men would be covered in lumps, bumps, and welts all over their faces and belly. Shavers throws a wild uppercut, Tyson dips to the left to dodge, then springs up with a powerful left hook. Shavers immediately sinks to the canvas in a daze, but is up at the count of 5. They exchange savage blows. Shavers lands a right hand causing blood to gush from Tyson's lip. The round ends.

Round 3 ans both men are still in bad shape. Tyson is reverting back his peak a boo and head movement to dodge. Shavers adjusts and slows down the pace looking for one big hit, pawing with his sharp jab. Tyson goes to the body. As he comes up, Shavers catch him at an odd angle with an overhand right. Tyson is down on one knee due to being off balance and off guard, but the punch went to his legs and caused damage making Tyson a bit unstable as he rises. As Shavers goes for the kill, Tyson keeps his tight guard enduring bomb after bomb, then dips to the right. He lands a crunching right to Shavers mid section, pivots, then snaps the Acorn's bald shiny head with a jolting uppercut sending sweat flying into the 1st row. Perfect timing. Shavers is flat on his back as the red counts and Tyson wobbles to his corner breathing hard. Shavers is up at 9, balling his fists with a fierce expression, but then...collapses.

    Tyson KO Round 3.

This would be a bit like John L Sullivan vs Frank Herald, or Terry McGovern vs Aurelio Herrera.

The bigger puncher, would lose to the more complete fighter.

This. Shavers maxed out his stats on punching power and mostly neglected the rest. Tyson would whip him and without that much effort in my opinion.

Shavers with all those KO wins against world class opponents that never happened. He'd be outclassed in every area of fighting by Tyson, and I'm not even sure he hit harder. Tyson absolutely savages the guy.

The sensible bet is Tyson to win. By stoppage. Quite early.
But Shavers has a strong puncher's chance. He can't be completely written off. He had Ali and Holmes in all kinds of trouble.

    Can't argue with this.
Tyson would Hurt Shavers long before anything else happens.
I think it would be over fast this one.
