I got into an arguement with fast Eddie on insta and told him he couldn`t beat any of the ring mags top 10 current heavies, did I make a fool of myself?

    You idiot

Eddie Chambers is the best win on prime Wlad's resume

    How dare you minimize him.

    Eddie is a textbook upper echelon journeyman. 6'1" >215lb's isn't a heavyweight.

No, you didn't. I think Gerald Washington is still rated #24 on Boxrec. Washington beat him five years ago and won like every round.

Not sure how many top 10 HWs he beat, but he could beat a few of the current. He wasn’t a big HW at all, but he had good skills and good handspeed.

He’d lose to the top 3 big dudes, no doubt. Usyk, too. After that, we’re talking the Povetkins and Whytes, yeah, he’d probably lose, but hold his own. He actually fought Povetkin way back when, and while he clearly lost, IIRC, he was certainly in the fight, won a bunch of rounds, and could have won the fight had he fought a more consistent fight. He’d be the underdog to guys Parker and Ruiz, but, depending on how the fight played out, he could beat them. I could see him beating the lower rung guys, sure.

Chambers didn’t have the power to really hurt guys, so he had to outbox them, and he was a good boxer. But to be his size at HW, to beat the best guys, he would need to have been a truly amazing boxer.

It was on Fouts insta, he said he could beat Fouts using just a jab alone on a insta post of Mathew Fouts punching a heavybag because Fouts stated that coach Anthony (who uploads training vids with Chambers) was stealing ideas from Fouts Boxing Theory on youtube.

Why were you pretending your last name was Adams? Does he know you're really mark ant?

Anyway yes, you somehow, for the first time, have made a complete and utter tit of yourself. Chambers would beat all but 3-4 active heavyweights.

Chambers would toy with many of the top 10 heavies today. The guy was good fighter.

Yeah, he was not bad in his prime. He defeated Sam Peter as well.
Prime Chambers could easily beat somebody like ancient Povetkin, Whyte, 100 year old Ortiz, 55 year old Pulev etc..
He would have more success today than in Klitschko era.
Mostly it's same fighters as in Wlads era, but 10 years older.

Povetkin as a novice already beat a prime Chambers... Chambers would also not stand much of a chance against Whyte or Ortiz. He could cause Pulev some issues, but also not enough to beat him. Out of the current top 10, prime Chambers might be competitive with Chisora but nothing more.

He was a good fighter in his prime, beating the likes of Sam Peter, Calvin Brock, Dimitrenko and many feel he beat Adamek despite fighting with one arm for pretty much the entire fight after injuring it in the first round. He also gave Povetkin a tough fight and he beat a few lower tier but half decent fighters.

His big problem was when he tried to make the step up from HW Level to CW Level, though. Even though he was a very small HW himself, like so many who ply their trade in the lower leagues down at HW Level, he was unable to bridge the gap and he got taken to slick school by Mchunu and the CW Level slicking the South African administered to him destroyed his confidence and he was never the same after that.

Prime Chambers would 100% take The Tuscaloser to slick school though. 100% no ifs or buts. In fact, I'd pick him to beat most of the guys ranked in The Ring's top 10 at HW now

I like Eddie Chambers but that is a gross exaggeration of his ability. What's his best win? A 10 rounder over Sam Peter? The guy didn't fight anyone with a pulse until about 30 bouts in. He beat Dimitrenko, who made a living off beating up pizza delivery men.

He already lost to Povetkin, and he definitely loses to Fury, Wilder and Joshua. I know that he's the forum's pinata, but he loses to Whyte. He loses to Usyk, Parker, Ruiz Jr, Joyce, Dubois. There's no guarantee whatsoever that he could even beat Hughie Fury.

Chambers loses to everyone in the Ring Top Ten except for Rivas and Whyte ( and the Whyte fight is a toss up I feel)
