Have to go with Holyfield here, he just has the toughness and tenacity to handle anything Joshua throws at him and find that chin.

Both at there best Holyfield stops Joshua. In best of 10 Joshua would win about 3. Holyfield could be inconsistent.

Not that size is the be all end-all. But Holyfield was more of a prototypical CW than Uysk was. Prime Holyfield who was under 210 lbs, would have a big size disadvantage against AJ.

He was unlucky vs Lewis in the rematch. He would be fine against Joshua

I'm sure he would be, but don't agree with Holy definitely getting a stoppage on pre-2017 AJ like some here are. The guys who did get AJ to the canvas in his career, were some big boys with heavy hands. Not something Holyfield was known for.

I see it as a 55-60% in favor of Holyfield.

It's closer than the Uysk fight because Holyfield is more hittable than Uysk in my view.

AJ can defo hit and hurt Holyfield and win a few rounds but in the long-run Holyfield has too much for AJ and would get a late TKO.

    Holyfield 10-11th round TKO.

Aj has never fought anyone as good as Holyfield, other than maybe usyk. He gets stopped mid to late rounds

Aj gets pieced up and battered until he croaks. Usyk boxed aj, Holyfield will take it to him and outclass him up close. Aj is only a big threat at mid range. Holyfield could probably outbox him too

Holyfield in the early 90s used to like to trade too much and get himself in wars when it wasn't always in his best interest.

I can see Joshua hurting Holyfield early as Holyfield would probably trade with Joshua and get stunned at some point. The difference is though is that Holyfield is great at recovering when hurt where as Joshua isn't.

It's probably a very exciting fight in the first 6 rounds until Holyfield's bigger heart, superior conditioning, and overall better boxing skills take over in the 2nd half of the fight and he stops Joshua between 8-10.
