prime holyfield would school vitali now i think.

prime holyfield would get kayoed by wlad now.

prime holyfield vs vitali who destroyed danny williams, gets kayoed

prime holyfield vs pre peter wlad (the one who fought mercer etc.) would stop wlad late on.

:good I made a similar post a while back.

-I think Wlad would be a very frustrating opponent for Holyfield. He often struggled to find his way around good long jabs and it would be very hard for him to force a brawl on the inside while he's being clinched and hugged to death.

-I might favor Evander against Vitali however, who is more workrate dependent and has been prone to right cross counters over his low left hand. I could see Holyfield taking the "more troubling than strong left" from Vitali to land his counters. It would be a hard fight and the Real Deal would have to take some punishment to get his shots in but he has a good chance. Evander never had an easy time with anyone anyway, just his style.

He couldn't beat Bowe because Bowe can fight in the inside. Holyfield was past his prime when he lost to Lewis. Wladimir and Vitali wins by keeping their opponents at a distance, the problem is neither Wladimir or Vitali will be able to keep Holyfield at a distance. A prime Holyfield will get within punching range, Holyfield too skilled to be kept at a distance.

    A prime Holyfield

Bowe was never good to hit straight. Crazy to go to hit a smaller man with hooks for cross-...The younger Klitschko would have hit the right direct and, if necessary bound

The Klitschkos are masters at rulling a division against the type of guys Evander beat up in a couple of rounds in his peak.

That's possible and I don't deny that Bowe's inside-fighting was the key to the victory against Holy but then again Bowe cannot be considered a smart fighter. I reckon he would have won the fights easier if he had used his physical advantages like height & reach and fought taller - more like a Klitschko. Worked quite well for Lewis who fought a past prime (not shot!) version of Evander but I think that Lewis beats any version of him (okay for you if consider LL-Holy 1 to be a LL win?) because he knows how to fight tall und if necessary fight inside. The Klitschko brothers go even a step further and simply refuse to fight inside because they are usually physically superior in comparison to their opponent and fight taller than anybody else has ever done before. And they're good at it, they're unmatched at fighting tall.
It's kind of hard to imagine Holyfield dogding the jab, the right hand, the left hook and Wlad's #40lbs weight advantage in cliches and forcing Wlad to fight inside. Not impossible but...I just don't think so.

Wlad wouldn't go 5 rounds with either Lewis or Bowe.

He wouldn't go 5 rounds with Vitali

Holyfield struggled against real elite big heavyweights.

Let's remember he pushed a peak Lewis and Bowe all of the way in both fights

Let's top pretending that a guy who lasted a couple of rounds with Corrie Sanders, and a guy who couldn't even beat a 38 year old Lewis are in the same class

It aint even much of a debate.

A prime Holyfield borderline outclassed a very very good Tyson.

Was 1-2 with a prime Bowe, and pushed him all the way in every fight.

Was 1-1 with a prime Lewis, when he was 37 or 38?

You are talking about Vitali who couldn't even beat a shot 38 year old lewis, and a guy who couldn't go 6 rounds with Corrie Sanders

    What are you talking about?

A 38 year old Holyfield pushes a peak Lewis all of the way!?

Vitali was plain embarrasing against a shot lewis in the last 2 rounds?! He barely threw a shot, and was grabbing on for dear life!?

Bowe at that time was probably one of the top 5 hardest fighters of all time to beat.

    He was a beast

Prime Holyfied knocks them out both. The problem being the infighting ability of both brothers. it doesn't exist.

Wlad would only be able to run for some rounds...I mean keep him on the outside.
