How would this proceed. Remember, despite the size difference Bugner struggled with a past his best Henry Cooper who was 189 lbs and I am convinced a prime Charles convincingly defeats a prime Cooper.

Can the skills of a prime, 1949-50 Ezzard Charles overcome the physicality of a prime Lyle?

In 1950, Joe Louis (36 years old) weighed 218 lbs when he fought Charles (29 years old) & 185 lbs.

Lyle was probably closely equivalent to that version of "Old Louis" on Joe's best night".

So Charles would probably Decision Lyle.
