Prime Fedor and Anderson vs Overeem and Bones

Overeem is no where near as proven as the other fighters mentioned. Overeem has lost almost every time he has stepped up to face anyone close to being elite. Until he has some significant wins, Overeem is an anchor that Jones doesn't have a chance to make float.

 

The K1 GP is a great accomplishment, but it isn't mma. If Overeem goes on to win against some elite mma fighters, his K1 resume will accentuate his resume. Right now, he is a K1 champ that has lost to almost every significant mma fighter he has faced.

But you're comparing the sports p4p Kings (at one point) to MMA studs for sure, but haven't gotten to the heights of Silva and Fedor.

I do think out of all the current MW and LHW fighters out there, Jon Jones is the one who has the potential to beat Silva thoe. That's a matchup that needs to happen if Bones defends his title successfully.

but I'm not a Zuffa Zombie btw. I was more a Pride fan than anything else. I give Overeem and Bones their props, I just need to see them accomplish more for me to change my mind.

 

I think someone needs to watch the rest of the tourney before he makes bold predictions on how his idol will destroy every fighter in mma. Barnett, Big foot Silva, Werdum and Kharitonov all have a shot at beating the Reem. Three of the four guys i listed are superb grapplers who could sub Alistair if they are given the chance.
