Why not he is the welterweight champion now, i agree he is not that great at the weight and i can think of at least 10 people i'd fancy to beat him at 147 however tito aint one of them.

He aint great at fighting a superb boxer like floyd, floyd will move all night and has great accuracy and will pick up rounds by pot shotting to victory.

Tito has wicked power but floyd has the chin and defence to take that, floyd wins a tight decision in my opinion

Wow. there s at least 27 puerto ricans on this board I guess.

Floyd strolls this.(And I hate Mayweather.) Think the first 8 rounds of DLH Vs Trinidad without the fade down the stretch....

He is the Champion, yes, but I think many Champions and contenders from past eras would beat him. At 130 he's probably unbeatable, but not at 147.

look at you -- no one from 140-154 can beat him ... you have to grab someone from a past era ...

i really think this fight comes down to tito not being able to adjust to floyds style
all of tito's losses looked basically the same
the guys got no backup plan once he's in trouble, he just comes straightforward all fight long

True but he would be competitve its not like he doesn't belong in fantasy matches alongside these names

the only people i wouldn't give floyd any chance against at the weight are robinson and hearns, he would also be heavy underdog and i couldn't see him winning against burley, leonard, walker, napoles, griffith, basllio and gavilan.

However that is nothing to be ashamed of these are some of the all time greats at the weight and floyd isn't really comfertable at 147, i agree at 130 no one beats him, floyd at 130 was a genius

someone has a brain in here!!! :good

lil o' Floyd wouldn't do **** on Trinidad. WHY??? Because to beat a prime Trinidad at 147lbs you basically had to fire a lot of shots on him and make him look stupid. 1) An undersized Floyd wouldn't be able to get off combinations on a nearly 6 foot Trinidad because Tito's straight punches jab/straight right were sinister and pretty quick. 2) Trinidad's power at that weight is probably 2x or more the power Floyd would have ever tasted in his career. 3) ONE little **** up and its goodnight for Floyd, That shot that Corley stunned Floyd with...That would have been EVERY shot landed by Trinidad.

Please save us with the Tito is 1 D and he can't box speach, Go bust in some tapes of Trinidad in his days and realize that he was a very quick and powerful puncher with one of the most natural powerful left hooks this sport has ever seen. Tito was just too good of a puncher.

PBF on the ropes against Tito is not a good scenerio.

Until PBF defeats Cotto, I go with Tito by late TKO.

Good points except for this one. No way in hell Tito stops Floyd. Tito fought an old, coke addicted Sweet Pea coming off a long layoff and couldn't stop him. I seriously doubt he could stop Floyd.

Furthermore, I doubt Tito would be able to land that left hook on Floyd, and he'll have a hard time hitting a small fighter with a low center of gravity with those hip and groin shots. It would interesting to see what he would do in lieu of those two weapons.

Floyd tried to fight Vargas and was turned down. I guess team Vargas wasn't as confident as you.

Sweet Pea is one of my favorite all time fighters. However, he was old, he was coming off a long layoff, and he was battling a cocaine addiction.

Old Popkins dominated Tito and separated him from his senses. Deal with it.
