As soon as I finished typing what I wrote, I was thinking 1 judge would probably score it 114-114 making it a MD.

Tito was a cheater that illegally loaded his gloves, until he got caught by Team Hopkins.

After that Tito had no power, though he managed to cheat and load his wraps against Mayorga.

Tito w/ illegal handraps might beat Canelo, but without illegal handraps Canelo KO's him.

Another thing, Tito also cheated with intentional low blows if he was hurt, just like he cheated against Fernando Vargas. After Vargas knockdowned and hurt Tito, Tito cheated his way out by punching Vargas with intentional low blow.

    Felix Trinidad: 5'-11", 72-1/2" reach
    Saul Canelo: 5'-9", 70-1/2" reach

At 154 lbs, Trinidad's big punches finds Canelo, and TKO's him 9 rounds.

Interesting clash of styles. Canelo does have more tools in his toolbox when looking at offense and defense, but I think Tito had the better footwork and was the better overall offensive fighter. Tito was an absolute dog at 154 but he could be outboxed. Tito is bigger and stronger and probably hits harder. If I was betting money I would go with Canelo UD or SD, but I could see Tito stopping him.

He was good and had good power and fast punches coming, but a little plodding and easy for guys to hit clean.

Canelo at 154 would be hard for Tito, after rehydrating Canelo usually had more pounds on him so even guys like Cotto who were competitive just couldn’t hurt him, that was his edge at that weight I’d say.

I mean, this is just clearly not true.

Of course Trinidad was a great fighter at 154 and was a good-sized fighter for the weight, having been a huge WW, but the fact is he moved up in weight at age 27.

It's well known that Canelo was flat-out making 154 from a young age and cuts huge amounts of weight.

Pretty obviously Canelo is going to be the bigger guy in there, he'd probably have 10lb on an in-shape Trinidad and it'd be an advantage for him as it was against almost every 154-lber.

Tito doesn't hit harder nor the better boxer than GGG. Canelo is a better boxer than Felix x10. Canelo by EZ work.

    Trinidad by late ko tko.
I think alvarez would have less chance than Vargas.
Trinidad would be absolutely cracking canelos chin.

Canelo doesn't have the power people think he does. He couldn't drop an old, beat up, 15lb smaller cotto.
He doesn't have the legs to do what Hopkins and Oscar did, not the workrate to do what winky did.

    Tito knocks him out.

Tito is better offensively than Canelo is defensively.
    At 147 and 154 Tito was a terror. I don't think he'd
stop Canelo but he'd definitely break him down.

Tito was a marathon runner so his stamina was off the chain. I really have him beating Canelo easily.
