    best 154 fight i've ever seen and probably the best performance by BOTH fighters. vargas had all the tools to win and nearly pulled it off. a tremendous fighter who was just pushed way too quickly

    In a firefight, Vargas knocks Pacquiao's head off.

    Cotto is a "good" puncher at 147, Vargas was a "great" puncher at 154lbs.

    My brain says it's Vargas by KO because I just don't see Pac being competitive with an elite fighter higher than 147.

    ...the thing is, Pac has been underestimated previously and he somehow proved a lot of people wrong in a spectacular way.

    Surprised by so many picking Vargas by KO, he was good but when he fought the elite (DLH/Tito) he got ko'd, Manny by KO.

    well now i at least know that you think pac, at a weight hes never even fought at, would beat vargas worse then a prime tito at arguably his best weight. :lol: (meanwhile team Pac wont fight Foreman because hes too tall lol)

    After one round Cotto abandon all his skills and simply went to war with pac, standing in front of him and walking him down and they had a war for 5 rounds before cotto broke, a prime vargas is bigger, stronger, better chin, heavier hands, ect, ect.... yet Vargas isnt even going to win more rounds then Cotto did against Pac? lol...

    whatever you say darth lol....

    id pay you the 49 bucks out of sympathy, and having just won money betting on vargas it wouldnt even come out of my pocket.... youd be payed because of vargas lol. :yep

    well right now the poll is at 64-36 pac is starting to make a late surge, but still only 6 for my pac dec???? lol How do people believe in a pac KO, but a pac decision is impossible??????? Please everyone UUUUSE MY KNOWLEDGE > I BEG YOU<

    Comparing Cotto to a prime Vargas is stupid. Cotto would never be competitive with a prime Hoya, Tito, or Wright.

    That's too simple. Why did Trinidad beat Vargas? He hit too hard. Does Manny hit as hard as Trinidad? Hell no! Is he as big? Hell no.

    Why did Oscar beat Vargas? He hit too hard. Is Manny anywhere near as big as Oscar? Does he hit as hard? No and no.

    People have to realise, looking at Vargas' boxrec isn't pretty. But he was a novice, a baby, fighting Trinidad, and the fight was awfully close prior to the knockout. The same applies to Oscar, the fight was practically even prior to Oscar knocking Vargas out. Heck, the first Mosley fight was very competitive. These guys are bigger than Pacquiao, and they all hit harder than Pacquiao.

    Will you people look at yourselves? At the time of this comment, 30 ESBers voted Pacquiao by knockout at 154...Think about that movie Idiocracy, then if you're one of those thirty, please don't breed or that movie will become a reality. Yeah, maybe not just from those thirty people but mark my words, it will be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
