Does anyone on this forum think Floyd could have beaten GGG? I`m adding a poll as I`m curious to find out how many votes Floyd will get and I`ve added the question: How would Floyd have done v GGG`s title fight opponents because this question has been asked before?

What's the heaviest Floyd can weigh and still maintain some athletic advantages?
GGG will walk into the ring at around 170lbs and I'm guessing Floyd isn't giving away 18 or so lbs to someone of that class

If Mayweather even thought he could beat GGG he would have made that bout.

He beats his competition quite easily and if this is peak Floyd of the Canelo fight he could pull off a h2h win.

    This.

At 160 Golovkin utterly wrecks Floyd and you'd have to be a spastic to think otherwise.

Even at 154 Mayweather was starting to take the strain due to the size difference. This is not about "skillz" this is about the fact that Golovkin would walk right through Floyd's best shots and that his own shots would be pulverizing in return.

GGG offered to meet Floyd at 154 and Floyd gave him a hard swerve. That tells us all we need to know.

Floyd liked to be 99% sure he'd win. Not facing GGG doesn't mean he couldn't win, just that the risk wasn't worth the financial reward.

Absolute joke of a thread. GGG would have ended his miserable life!

Which other former middleweight champs do you feel feel Floyd could have beat?

Somebody slow and with little footwork and defence. Or somebody with few skills.

The guys that didn't drain to make weight mean Floyd would only be at a 10lb or so disadvantage. That's a welterweight today

GGG landed more jabs on Canelo than Floyd did, his jab isn`t slow at all.

He has a slim chance of beating Gene Fullmer, but he'd likely be very beat up by the end. That looping over hand right could get around the Philly she'll and rock him. Plus Fullmer's guard would make jabs and pull counter right hands hard to land (which are 2 of Floyd's most important weapons). He isn't knocking Fullmer out and wouldn't beat him in a slug fest so he'd need to fight the perfect fight to pull that off. I'd give him a 4/10 chance since he's so smart and good at adapting.

He could possibly outpoint a 147 pound version of Robinson in a 12 rounder. Robinson destroys him in a rematch tho, or above 147. Too fast, durable, smart, and powerful. He was the complete package and Floyd only has the defense and cageyness advantages to frustrate him and make the rounds close.

Winky Wright would be a very difficult fight to watch due to their styles mixing like oil and water, but Floyd is faster and busier so he could pull something off.

Sergio Mora is big and athletic but he honestly doesn't have a great ring IQ or technique. I think Floyd could actually break him down at some point.
