    Roy Jones was a known drug cheat so he doesn't count

    A lot of these posters used to claim Chad Dawson would have beat Calzaghe.

    Ward for me.

    Straight punches will keep Calzaghe honest and force him to fire back with straight shots of his own.

    The slower pace Calzaghe fights at the better chance goes to Ward.

    Hopkins and Salem slowed Calzaghe's output right down and i reckon Ward would do the same.

    Although it isn't a foregone conclusion at all. Calzaghe seems better every time i remember him fighting.

    Maybe one day I'll favour Calzaghe and class him as an ATG.

    If Ward couldn't find a way to stop Joe throwing 1,000+ punches then he would be in for a long night. But then, no other boxer in recent years has been as skilled as Ward at nullifying his opponents than Andre. Only Hopkins comes close in this respect.

    I've always thought this would be a close fight but that Calzaghe would outwork him for the win.
