Although Margo wasnt the best at 154, i give a him a good chance to beat canelo based on his ability to take punishment and his workrate. Canelo is too economical and he cant afford to take breathers and **** against Someone like margarito.

Canelo's undoing is the fact that he tries to emulate Floyd in the ring

Laughable. Canelo would handle him similar to the way he handled Angulo. Margarito was too slow. Even if Margarito had the plaster wraps like when he busted up Cotto with the softest looking shots ever, and made him quit, Canelo would still win.

 

What a joke. The " soft shots " that cotto got hit by hurt him because of fatigue. When you are tired, every punches hurt.

I doubt it....the Cotto fight was far to damning considering the damage of the punches.

That said....He was a GREAT fighter, and yeah, Canelo's got nothing to hold him back in terms of skills....So Margs could well beat CANyellow. :think

I don't know about stops, but he definitely outworks him.

 

Margarito has very little defense and Canelo lands whenever he wants. Canelo does not need a high work rate if he can land so easily and cleanly on Margarito which would certainly happen. Margarito's only chance is when Canelo has to take moments of rounds off to regain his energy. I doubt Margarito fairs any better than Angulo to be honest.
