prime for prime Antonio Margarito stops Canelo

As much as I liked Margarito, he gets a bigger beating from Canelo than he did from Pac or Mosley.

And some of you are embarrassing yourselves with this exaggeration of Canelo's lack of stamina.

 

Canelo is just entering his prime so we don't even know how good he can be, but he beats any version of Margarita, as some have said, has no defense and would eat counter rights all day for a relatively easy, no drama fight. Margarita's style suits Canelo almost perfectly.

 

I see where you are coming from. I still think Canelo's flaws are slightly exaggerated plus I think there is a gap in skill between the two fighters. Margarito is really no better than Angulo in any area other than stamina. I suppose that Margarito's stamina and work rate will allow him to have success in some spots when Canelo gasses but I don't see Margarito having the capabilities of hurting Canelo either or even winning more than a couple of rounds.

 

Canelo is 25 years old, how do we even know what his prime is yet?

A prime Margarito with two good eyes beats El Pollo Canelo like a red headed stepchild. Only problem Tony might have is getting the red headed chicken in the ring with him Pollo aint got the cojones :scaredas::scaredas::good

 

I disagree for the simple fact that, Margarito landed some shots on Cotto that were muffing, and not impactful. Yet Cotto was busting up and being seriously hurt by them. That suggests something up with the wraps.

Also, you don't shear a guys ear off in a fight unless you got something sharp in your wraps. I saw him leave Lujan's ear hanging off of his head on FNF. Never seen that before.

Get Margaritos testiculos out of your mouth. He doesn't need you to gargle them. The second fight played out different from the first. I didn't see the late surge that you and other butthole sore Margarito fans claim.

Canelo would work Margarito, worse than Daniel Santos did.

 

Margarito couldn't take bodyshots and could never beat a guy like Canelo.

1... Margarito busted up Cotto bad so he must have had loaded gloves ?? Cotto was beat up almost as bad in the rematch are you saying he had loaded gloves again then?? Just think for one minute The person who really is suspicious is Manny Pacquaio.
Look at the damage he did to Margarito's face He crushed Tony's orbital bone Nearly causing him to lose an eye. Where did that immense punching power come from ?? I don't see anyone attacking Pac the way they attack & accuse Tony

Idk seems like he's tailor made for Canelo, however his downfall would be if he neess to take breaks. If that hapoens i could see Margarito finishing strong to win or lost a SD.

 

Margarito can't take it to the body and Canelo is a good body puncher. Imo Margarito didn't beat Clottey let alone beat a guy like Canelo.
