Interesting since Mayorga beat Forrest who beat Mosley, but if I had to rank them from best to worst Mosley would be #1 with Forrest #2 and Mayorga #3.

Yeah its weird how that works. I have Mosley above Forrest thought Forrest beat him twice and have DLH above mosley though was beaten twice by Mosley.

I gotta say man I have Mosley above Oscar but not just cause he beat him I just think that overall he was a better fighter than Oscar.

Nah, loses to every boxer he faces, Oscar being one of them second time. But that's another thread.

BTW, not hating on Mosley, one of my all time favorites.

    Shane
    Mayorga
    Forrest

I'm a Mayorga fan. Forrest was great too, and perhaps the second fight between Mayorga and Forrest could have been considered a draw. But Forrest has lapses in his career being inactive, injured, and some upsets.

Actually, i think a primed Mayorga (the one that beat forrest) would give mosley all he wanted....

I think in terms of head to head, not legacy wise, resume, or any other factors, just based on head to head they are all very equal.... due to the round robin. I think Mayorga beats Forrest the majority of times, and im not sure who i would take between mosley and mayorga at 147 with mayorga at his peak.... i know thats not the popular pick but i think mayorga gives shane problems regardless. And i would pick Forrest to beat Mosley most of the time.... but lets say a primed mosley does hammer out a win against mayorga with his speed and combos, so mayorga beats forrest most of the time, forrest beats mosley most of the time, and if one thinks so then mosley beats mayorga (which again... im not sold on)

If going completely on a head to head basis, i cant put them in order.

Whos a greater fighter though based on legacy, ect, i would have it

    Mosley

and to me forrest and mayorga are actually harder to seperate legacy wise then i thought... i figured it would be shane but he doesnt have many top tier wins, and has less big losses then mayorga, which might make the determining factor.... but mayorga also never lost to the likes of mora.

    but perhaps it would go

    Mosley
    Forrest
    Mayorga

I think SKILLWISE.... as in who do i think is 'technically' the best boxer its forrest no question.

Funny how boxing is.... you can ask, whos the best boxer of these three? and come up with three different answeres lol... head to head, legacy wise, and technically. lol... interesting.
