This would have been a good tear up. Take the Green who beat Stracey, and who gave Carlos Palomino a good losing effort back in '77 against the 1983 Jones, who drew against, and lost by a split decision,to Milton McRory. While running the risk of being nailed by the Welshman's powerful right hand,I take Green to mount up points, via his superior work rate,to bull his way inside, and stop Jones around the tenth round. As always though,Dave's face would be pretty swolen up by the end.

I side with Jones to stop Green in the mid rounds after being down on points early....but it would be a very good domestic scrap.

Jones by KO. His left hook would be too much for Green. By the mid rounds.
