Bivol throws so many punches I have to lean towards Roy catching him with something during his spurts to put him down a few times to earn the points win.

Actually think the syles would make for a great fight.
A total athlete, with huge speed and power VS a total technical boxer.
I'd lean towards Roy due to his extra power, but Bivol is so good and so correct in what he does that his athletisim would be a great fight either.

    This is true.

But he IS beating him, 8-4 or 9-3.

Remember when Roy said that fighting someone who throws as many punches as Calzaghe always presents a big problem for any fighter including himself?

Bivol might not throw as many punches as Calzaghe but he throws an awful lot and, like Joe, he has very fast hands and throws rapid combinations

My favourite active boxer against my all time favourite boxer. Roy Jones Jr wins but Bivol gives him a tough fight

Eurasian Level is different. Bivol being Eurasian equips him with natural super powers which Roy and the countless other steroid freaks who looked up to him and were inspired by him to turn to the dark side would need to joust industrial amounts of PEDs in their asses to gain: Eagle vision, snake speed and precision, mongoose reflexes, Soviet bear strength, and that mix of European and Asian (Moldovan and Korean in his case) DNA is like winning the super jackpot for the genetic lottery

Anyone who is fortunate enough to be Eurasian, as I am, knows that we are just built different. Look at GGG, Kostya, Bivol, Janibek etc. they're all blessed with natural super powers that most can only dream of

I'll wager than Bivol can see much better in the dark at night than Roy can see in the daytime and that he would embarrass the hell out of Roy if they played table tennis.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Roy got dropped by the ping pong ball if it hit him on that abomination of a chin of his as it came hurtling back at him at 100mph. Bivol would see that ball moving in slow motion whereas it would be coming back at Roy with such velocity he would be lucky to score a single point against Bivol

Glass Jaw Roy wouldn't dare to fight someone like Beterbiev and Bivol beat him twice.

Bivol beats Roy and I can see it by KO. Roy had no Plan B in a fight he had No Chin and he didn't test himself in his Prime like Bivol has done either. Roy was busy wasting his Prime away fighting in obscure places like Biloxi, Pensacola, Tampa, Indianapolis, etc against handpicked opposition who posed little threat. When Glass Jaw Roy decided to go into the Lion's Den he started getting KOed over and over. Coincidence? I think not.

While I am not suggesting the fight would be one-sided, I don't see any version of Bivol beating apex Jones.

Bivol way too basic for prime Roy. No way he beats him. Beating up Canelo and one dimensional Beterbiev is nothing compared to prime Roy jones. Let's get serious.

Roy Jones would probably win a decision.

Roy didn't need a plan B. It's like saying George Foreman had no plan B. If he can outbox McCallum, James Toney and Bernard Hopkins, he has little trouble with Bivol. I have no idea why current boxers get ranked so highly in the ATG rankings, except for Usyk and Inoue. Bivol is quality, but a razor-thin points win over Beterbiev and a win against Canelo, who had no business at 175, don't suddenly catapult him to GOAT status.

Beterbiev from 5 years ago would've mauled Bivol and probably stopped him. He's in his 40s now, his knees are gone, and he still (in my opinion) only lost by a round in both fights. Beterbiev, in his prime, gives Roy a good fight but loses a wide points decision. Roy ruined his own career and chin by going to heavyweight and coming back down, but let's not pretend Bivol is on the same planet skill-wise.
