Foreman won't want to do this against the greatest overall puncher in the divisions history, though. If he gives Tyson free shots, he'll be taking a few trips to the canvas and no be getting up. To be fair Tyson took some hard shots against Ruddock and kept on coming, though so it certainly wasn't the case that he always lost once he was hit back. He beat Berbick and Thomas too and those guys came to fight not run ala Bonecrusher or Tucker.
He will. He'd adopt the 'long arms, pushing opponents' technique he used so often. Foreman will accept trips to the canvas, more so than Tyson. 'Overall punching' means less in a brawl- where general power, strength, chin and heart mean it all. They're in the same league in chin and power, Foreman way ahead in heart and strength. Two has-been Coke heads. Thomas had some success but nothing meaty landed.
Speed is surely a big factor, though in terms of who's going to land their best shots first. Tyson will make Foreman pay by making him miss his fair share and will capatilize on any openings (and there will be more than some).
He'll land first. Foreman may be wobbled, then trade back. Only one winner after that and that's the geezer who carried on believing way into his 40s after this pummeling: This content is protected Not the milksop who moaned to refs every time there was a clash of heads, said "ooooowwwwwwww" when his trainers would try to supress a cut or, inevitably, ended up qutting on his stool.
