Joe is over rated and Tiger under. I think this is a very interesting match-up of two equals. prime v prime the both lose to the big three RJJ, Bhop and Toney. I think DM takes this one in a close upset . . . Especially if it is outside of england! but it could go either way

Like u have a car :patsch. The guy asked a legitimate question, if you dont have any analysis then kindly be silent and let the men who actually saw michalczewski in the ring, break this fight down for ya.

Cal would easily beat a conventional european fighter.

There is seriously something wrong with you.

And I haven't seen enough of DM to comment.

People should watch Michalczewski before passing judgement on him. I'd probably favor Calzaghe, but this is a near 50/50 fight. You don't go 12 years without a loss while capturing the linear Light Heavyweight title and beating men like Virgil Hill, Graciano Rocchigiani 2x, Montell Griffin, Drake Thadzi, etc without being a very good fighter.

Michalczewski likely gives away to many early rounds with his measured offensive ouput..Joe won't drastically fade down the stretch either.

But Joe better not hang around on the inside for extended periods of time...He just leaves to many openings..If he thinks that uppercut from Kessler tickled his whiskers then wait till he feels one from DM.

Joe might outland him 2-1 but when DM punched it was authoritative and eye catching..His jabs you could almost consider a power punch the way it jarred his opponents.

Could see a lot of rounds being about quality vs quantity...though there are enough rounds where Joe leaves little doubt who won them.
Michalczewski would be the most damaging puncher Joe had faced.

Joe used to have chin problems when somebody landed on him, he might be
on canvas a few times which would nullify his speed and volume output.
So either Calzaghe SD or DM TKO.

True, and since neither Calzaghe chin nor his defence is great I can see a lot of problems for him there. While DM was slow starter and he may give away a lot of early rounds, every times Calzaghe lands on canvas he gets 10:8 round. And once he wakes up his workrate almost guarantees he would land something significant at one time or another.

It seems like a lot of people judge the result based only on the last part of DM career, when he was already on decline, losing close UD to Gonzalez and almost losing a rematch with Hall.

it was a forearm that KD'ed Joe.

anyways does not matter as Calzaghe put a beat down on RJJ in that fight.

for what it is worth RJJ was as protected as any other fighter in his prime.
