Yes, Lewis tended to get more sloppy or at least too relaxed which helped cause his two defeats. In this matchup Lewis is one with more room to get sloppy and take chances considering his power in comparison to Holmes.

I think Holmes should always be favored to out-box Lewis. It seems almost every great jabber had some sort of problem with another great jabber. It's argued from Williams with Holmes and Mercer with Lewis. It's true in all realms. A great jab can trouble an ever greater jab, but Holmes said have more success against the jab than Lewis. Bruno and Mercer had plenty of success with the jab, and 37 year old Holyfield gave Lewis somewhat tough fights. Holmes just has the weapons, speed, movement, and versatility to out-box Lewis. Better style-matchup. Lewis didn't prove himself enough against speed, or smaller great jabbers IMHo.

Lewis. I think he has more ways to win the fight.

55/45 for Holmes. Lewis had some trouble with good jabbers such as Mercer and V. Klitschko, and did not do well as he should have vs a declining Holyfield who could jab and counter a bit. Holmes had some trouble vs right handed punchers, but was never stopped because of it.

I think this would be a tough score to fight. Do you go for the number of punches landed or the damage the punches have caused? In the end, I think Holmes would win more rounds, but Lewis might win his rounds by a clearer margin.

These 3 (lewis, holmes and wlad) are amongst the highest regarded by me in a h2h sense.

Only elite level hw's such as louis, liston ali and tyson would I favour above these 3. I'd expect all 3 to beat up other highly regarded h2h hw's such as foreman, bowe, jackson, vitali etc.

Can't pick between lewis and wlad.

Foreman has a decent shot but I think i'd favour wlad.

Bowe loses to wlad comfortably imo.

I can see Wlad getting past the war weary version who fought Golota in '96 but not the monster from Holyfield I

I think Holmes is winning going away to be honest - he'd be MUCH busier with the jab, and MUCH quicker with it - the Holmes of say the Cooney fight was a seasoned veteran in the body of a peak champion - I think he would probably school Lennox - he'd be very wary of Lewis' bug right hand and Lewis would try but I see him trying to employ his own boxing skills and swiftness but Holmes was to good an all round boxer - Holmes would probably have the odd shaky moment getting nailed now and again but I think he react quick and get out of harms way quick - Holmes was ultra competetive deep down and he make sure not give Lennox unnecersary opportunities - Lennox has more ways of losing than he does of winning

Nah I don't think bowe has the chin to handle someone as strong and accurate as wlad.

Maybe he gets inside during the first few rounds but if he doesn't that jab will start to frustrate him before the right starts to drop him.

LOL, Bowe is all wrong for WK, period, WK DOES not like pressure and Bowe would pressure him and some, with Eddie Futch in his corner and Bowe still hungry he takes Wk. Fact, and I am a Wk/VK fan. Bowe would have a much harder time with the elder brother.

As far as chin, Bowe was never ko'ed, ever, even when totally shot and has ONE razorthin loss on his record, so the timid right hands he threw against the fraud Haye ain't doing ****.

Another fact, Bowe flat out KO's Haye, that is about as certain as death and taxes.............except Haye would have never ever taken the fight.

Bowe was never knocked out his entire career. Wlad, Lewis both have been KO'd and didnt show the chin Bowe had.

I dont understand how people say that about Bowe who had a style where he took a lot of good solid shots yet he was only down two times his entire career and got up to win both times. Bowe had a good chin not as good later in his career when he was not in shape but he took some good shots from fighters like Cooper and Seldon who were capable punchers.
