...would look something like this :yep This content is protected Vitali is no midget like Byrd or one-dimensional slugger like Tua. Vitali counter-punches Ibeabuchi to death. Vit ko 9 :deal
Byrd whipped his ass and made him quit, Vitaly ran out of gas and was getting backed up by freaking Byrd, both are very overrated IMO.
yeah dont mention the shoulder injury. but that fight changed vitali....his in-ring mentality changed and he became a killer. Ike would be seeing even more demons after the ass whipping vitali gives him did Ike ever fight anyone taller than 6'0" :yep
Old ass Evander tore his rotator cuff and kept fighting besides he looked fine until he got tired and Byrd backed his ass up. Next time don't discredit a win over a fighter who took care of your boy.
how did i discredit the win? u dont think the shoulder injury played a role? do u think bryd's featherdusters made vitali quit? so u think vitali quit while 5 or 6 points ahead cause byrd intimidated him. it's a win but u have to take into consideration the circumstances.
"Vitali is no midget like Byrd" you're words not mine. Vitaly Quit because he was tired and Byrd was comming on strong.
03 Lewis was = to the Holmes that fought Tyson, in other words he was old, rusty, out of shape, and shot BUT Vitaly still couldn't get the job done, and was evenly fighting Lewis.
:rofl that's not discrediting the win, that's sizing up their matchup. Vitali is 6'8, byrd 6' and tua 5'10". it was a good win but it was against a smaller hw just like tua. he wasn't proven against tall hws. vitali's size would pose problems. and i also mentioned tua was limited while vitali could fight on the backfoot, counterpunch, brawl etc...he was more versatile in that respect. So vitali wouldn't just stand in there and trade with ike like tua did. he would step back and counter or box from a distance.
Vitaly also tires after 5 rds, seen it with Lewis, Byrd, and Sanders even though Sanders was a punching bag.
:rofl :rofl :rofl that holmes comparison is rather absurd. holmes didn't even come to fight. he looked afraid in there. lewis was there to win and went to war. btw, lennox was the undisputed champ and holmes was coming out of retirement for a payday lewis was still a great fighter. he wasn't at his physical best but he was far more experienced and tougher imo than he used to be. lewis at this point was far more willing to mix it up. he showed a great chin in that fight and im not sure if a younger lennox could have taken those shots and still be so aggressive....and i'm a big fan of lewis but vitali would have always troubled lennox. lennox still had that tremendous power. the right cross and uppercut were still top notch along with his left hook. his jab when he threw it was very effective. his handspeed was slower.
