Vitali might have faced better competition but he has not beaten a better competition.

Vitalis best wins Corrie Sanders and Kirk Johnson.

Ibeabuchis best wins are Chris Byrd and David Tua.

And you are right he could have arguably lost that war against Tua. But It wasn’t robbery it was a great close fight. Even if he would have lost that match, it would been impressive.
But in the end, he did’t lose.

He went war against Tua and taked the victory. :deal

Vitali quit while he was way ahead on the cards vs. Byrd due to a torn rotator cuff. Learn about boxing and injuries before you post about them, it'll make you seem smarter.

The fight wouldn't happen. There would be some kind of explosion when they met at the press conference, due to the sheer mass of unfulfilled potential.

Being ahead of cards doesn’t mater thought if you quit.

It was good victory for Byrd even when Klitchko fans try to turn it a victory for Klitchko.

Chris Byrd's win was 100% legit. That doesn't change the fact that Vitali was beating his ass before being injured.

Interesting matchup, no doubt. Ike's reputation has grown even greater the longer he has been gone, but he was impressive in his short career. Vitaly had a longer career with more concrete accomplishments, but like Ike there is still an element of "what might have been" to his career.

Ike KO'd a slick mover like Byrd and bested prime Tua in a toe to toe slugfest. It's close, but I'll go with Ike to win this one.

Ike would have been a very hard handful to contain.. Vitali was very good, but Ike on his best day (and he was improving ) would have made Vitali quit.

I love how people say "oh Vitali only lost because he was injured".

Like being healthy enough to finish a fight isn't PART OF BEING A PRIZE-FIGHTER?????

Even with all the "fun facts" and meaningless stats than fanboys try to trump up Vitali with, he never beat anyone as good as Chris Byrd, or David Tua either.

Although he did have his chance against Byrd.

Who won that fight again?

Ike had the chin to take vitalis best shots, the style to pressure him and the punch to open up his ugly face.
Vitali "drama queen" Klitsko gets knocked out inside 10 rounds after getting worn out.

Did Vitali ever fight anyone?
