Who did ike beat that was a top five heavy?

 

Who did Vitali beat that was a contender and not overweight, old, inactive, or overweight, old, and inactive all at once?

Chris Byrd wasn't ranked in the top 5, at least by The Ring at the time, because guys like Michael Grant, Michael Moorer (who hadn't fought in over a year, perfect for Vitali), and Shannon Briggs. Were these guys better than Byrd?

Who won that fight between Byrd and Vitali by the way?

 

I don't think anyone on this board has seen as much Ike as I have.

Ike outworks Vitali, and outlands him. Vitali is a huge puncher but Ike was not bothered by any Tua Bombs, and I feel David Tua was the bigger puncher between the two. Vitali is the better boxer, and would often counter Ike, but Ike is a big strong Heavyweight, and would certainly land a lot of his shots purely on work rate.

Whilst all of this goes on, Wladimir Klitschko has a panic attack in Vitalis' corner when he see's Ike Ibeachui across the ring.

On what basis what Vitali's power better. What quality opponent did Vitali ever knock out, I acknowledge they both had tremendous power. Was Vitali's punch that much greater that it would stop Ike when Tua's didn't, I say no. That isn't trolling, it's called an informed opinion.

I believe Ike was a physically opposing opponent, with enough pressure and stamina to give Vitali Klitschko or any Heavyweight in history problems. I feel when people dismiss Ike because he went to prison, is totally overlooking the key to H2h matchups in Boxing. Styles make fights, and I wouldn't favour either fighter to knock the other out. Vitali had a solid chin, as did Ike, but I feel Ike does more work down the stretch and pulls out the decision. Why is that considering trolling?

However, I'd suggest you ackowledge the rest of my post where I make valid points as to why I feel Ike Ibeachui is more than a live opponent against Vitali Klitschko. The comment I made on Wladimir, I acknowledge, was pretty childish, but it's all in good humour.

If Wladimir Klitschko ever fought Ike Ibeachui he'd be knocked out, as he doesn't keep his composure very well against agressive, pressure fighters. Ike is a pressure fighter of the highest order.

Vitali does better, because he is a great counter-puncher but unlike his brother, possess a great chin, evident in his ability to take that great uppercut against lennox. However, like his brother, he gets outworked but stays in there for the full 12 rounds. That's just the way I see it.

If I deeply offended your favourite fighter, Wladimir, I do apoligise. I'm serious.

 

I think Vitali would out work him, it would be a close fight because Ike seemed durable but I think Vitali's awkward style and work rate and durabilty would be enough to take a close UD

 

I have seen hours and hours of Ike in the gym firsthand. I have seen quite a few of his fights live on the up and up.

Ike was a beast, but he is nothing more than a mythic figure. He was losing to Byrd until Byrd got caught. And Tua, who is crazy limited, in my opinion, beat Ike by two rounds.

the fact you even compare ike to golota just shows how dumb you are. Ike would have beaten Lennox, you better ****ing beleive it. Emmanuel has gone on record stating they were avoidgin that fight like the plauge. didnt i just mention that emmaunel steward has gone on record saying they were avoiding the ike fight like the plague? get real man, ike would have destoryed lewis and klitchsko. And his fight with tua was a clear win for him. I have the ****ing fight too *****, so if you need to see it again to see who really won, just ask me.
