SRL stops Pac late. Hearns stops Pac early. Duran UD. Pac UD Hawk Pac Benitez is close but i am leaning towards a Benitez UD.
He's very underappriciated if you ask me. People for some reason think Leonard defeated him with ease, which isnt really the case. Leonard had to adapt in order to beat Wilfred, he didn't just KO him with ease.
Saying you 'think' someone will win is not underestimating a fighter, saying a fighter would 'definitely' win is though.
im gonna be honest and say even tho I disagree with alot of things floyd and manny do and I cant stand their fanboys I am a fan of their skills. With that said im gonna say despite them being p4p the best and for being the smaller men taking down the bigger men is no easy feat. Oscar, mosley, and margarito to name afew had little success when they fought at the highest weight there bodies let them. Big difference is oscar took on a legend in hopkins close to his best days and the same could be said about mosley and tito falling to a prime winky. Where are the prime elite warriors floyd or manny have defeated that are the best 147 154 have to offer? The only one I see either one defeating might be duran if he had one of his off nights like he did with lang or benitez, but if its the one that beat leonard he stops both floyd and manny. Manny couldnt ko oscar he is not stopping an iron chin duran. Only hearns or srr being much larger men Would ko him. Duran would be extremely motivated for either one and thats what fuels him. Floyd amd manny need to take on fighters on their way up not on their way down. They still dont have anything on on those legends.
Pacquiao vs Pryor would be the best contest of the lot, because Aaron would get in there and have a tear up with Manny. He could give and take a good shot too. Hearns would destroy Pacquiao inside three rounds, Tommy is all wrong for pretty much any welterweight to ever walk the planet - let's be real here. Leonard could take Pacquiao's shots and could outslug Manny, to a decision or late stoppage. I could see Benitez making Manny miss badly and winning a close but clear decision too.
ok I see your point. you would say that those who are saying Duran, Leonard, or Hearns would "definately" beat Pac are underestimating Pac, right?
Leonard and Hearns would definitely beat Pacquiao...and I don't believe I am underestimating Pacquiao at all. They are simply too big.
I remember watching pac vs dlh and the cameras zoom to show margarito in the crowd(the then world welterweight champ). i think larry merchant suggests that matchup against Pacman and the other 2 commentators laugh it off like a joke implying pac would have 0 chance.
the question was addressed to jpab19, because he specifically said that "Saying you 'think' someone will win is not underestimating a fighter, saying a fighter would 'definitely' win is though"
