I've seen Rhodes quite a few times on the circuit but I don't think that I have ever seen Williams fight. I'm not going to make a boxrec decision.

Rhoses had more potential, but Williams at his best had more substance.

    Williams TKO10

Rhodes never reached his potential so I will go for Williams. Rhodes could have acheived alot and although I rate his chances domestically I doubt he has the tools to beat guys above European level. His career from tyhis point on should be very exciting though due to the possible match ups out there. Any news on if he can grab a shot at Moore or maybe even Duddy?

    Williams by Mid rounds TKO.

Williams was a quality little fighter and imo he could have gone further if the right fights were made.

Our light middles at that time should have been put against each other and it still pisses me off to think about all the decent domestic fights we should have seen.

It could go either way imo.Williams at his best was a lovely boxer to watch, even if a little lazy at times.Shame he was out for so long with that mystery illness, could've dominated the domestic scene no probs.Rhodes as stated by others, never reached his full potential.Would'nt be surprised if either won.....interesting match up though

Richard Williams reminded me a lot of Michael Watson.
