George got outboxed and dropped by Jimmy Young. Imagine what James Toney would do to him. Did George beat Holyfield, Bowe or Lewis? No, he did not. He did manage to win the belt off of a former light heavyweight by Ko in a fight he was losing badly, but he pulled it off. That was a tremendous achievement all the same. Gotta respect his loss to Holyfield. It was a hell of an effort and an entertaining fight. Georges legendary power failed to hurt Evander much so he came up short. Of course, evander was a former cruiser, not light heavy, and weighed over 210 lbs. George did great things in his time, but to me its obvious that a win over Wlad would be a far greater achievment than anything he ever did, and would rightfully be a huge underdog going into the match.

 

I just looked all over Georges record and cannot find the other 6'6 Eastern European George kod. Could you help me with this please? I am assuming you just made that up to support your religious, unfounded belief that George would easily defeat Wlad because you either just don't like Wlad,don't like the current era, or just have a yearning for the 70' s.

I never denied George hits harder than most fighters. I just simply stated based on anecdotes of people who have been hit by both that their punching power is identical. And no amount of hatred for your own race can ever supplant the cold hard truth that Wlad was physically superior in almost every conceivable way.

Where do you come off saying that all of today's heavyweights are fat? Did you see a six pack on Ali, Frazier, Shavers, or even Big George. No, you didn't. The only heavyweight from that era who could have matched Wlad or Vitali's physique was Kenny Norton, and he was a glass jawed feather fist.

I just don't see the athleticism that you claim on Wlad's behalf. He fights smaller guys that he can intimidate. When they get inside of his reach, he grabs them and lays his heavy body over their back. Rinse and repeat until the target is physically exhausted and then push him down. TKO. Where's the athleticism?
