I would say 2009 (the Chagaev fight) to present is Wladimir's prime.

I wasn't talking about how they punch.
Of course they punch differently. Foreman with more power,
    and Haye much faster.

Fair assessment. Could be in his peak now. Wait, I take back what I said earlier his peak is '10-now. Though Byrd II, Brewster II, Brock for instance can qualify for peak performances?

Guy deserves credit for being dominant and low workrate or not he fights how any tall fighter technically should and fights to win.

yet wet toilet paper chinned Morrison boxed his brains off.
Common sense would tell that Waldo might do better.

Also, you may already be aware of this but just to make sure.......you're a spastic ******, my friend:good

no, commonsense would tell you he was in his midforties versus Morrison.

How in this universe could you not notice that blatant bit of commonsense.

    you werent, but I am.

Since your point about height difference between 6'4" George and 6'6" Wlad was redundant anyway.

The only difference that makes a difference is that Foreman punches wouls wipe out Wlad.

Anyone with a punch, will, and conditioning knocks Wlad out, except Corrie Sanders, wait.

Onto the topic of the fight itself, I think a lot of it depends on the referee. If there is a referee who will allow Wlad to clinch at any opportunity and hold on for as long as he needs (like against Mormeck, disgraceful refereeing), then Wlad could well win this fight on a UD at long range (He's not KO'ing big George).

If the referee will not allow that kind of excessive clinching, holding and hugging, and allows Big George to fight inside and at mid-range, where he can set up his offence, then I see a Foreman KO.

Both Wlad and George like to fight going forward, it should make this fight interesting, Wlad is quicker of hand and foot, and won't want to stand and trade. I imagine Big George will take a lot of punishment, however he has an iron chin, and Wlad won't be committing to his punches out of respect for George's power. George has excellent timing, and if he can find his range to reach Klitschko's chin, it's lights out. I predict Foreman by KO, Wlad never faced anyone nearly on George's level, George is not Sam Peter for **** sake!

Yep. But I think a prime (confident pre-Ali) Foreman would catch Wlad in an early round and KO him.

Old Foreman is too slow and would get KO'ed by a prime (current) Wlad in one of the mid-late rounds.

  11. Good poll

Did anyone's opinions change after 3-4 years?

  12. one thing to remember is

If Prime Foreman was in this era

he will probably be around 240 pounds of solid muscles and just bulldoze forward and try to hit you to death.

oh god, wlad by KO... foreman was all of 220 pounds. . . yeah, he hit hard, but not near as hard as wlad. . also, wlad throws straight shots, foreman throws looping shots. . .

hand, and foot speed? Pretty big edge to Wladimir despite weighing 25 pounds more of pure muscle.
