I know that. I'm not saying they are good b/c of their size. Size does help tho. Vitali has deceptive handspeed. Not all of his punches are fast, but they are intended to not be fastballs. He switches it up. Sometimes he punches threw the target and sometimes he doesn't. IMO this fight would go like all the rest of Vitalis. He jabs, jabs, jabs and if Foreman would throw a punch Vitali would lean back with his awkward stance and counter George repeatedly. Vitali can do it all: Jab, uppercut, hooks, go to the body. Foreman never fought anyone close to Vitali Klitschko in terms of size, power, chin, skills, and pure strength. Gomez is the same size as Foreman and ppl think that Foreman is so much stronger than Vitali and push him around, you have another thing coming.
I think a prime Foreman would KO Wladimir. He has way too much power, chin, and the fact that he just doesn't stop coming. Vitali would beat Foreman on points though with his good outside fighting.
Prime for prime I think it would be a great fight that Vitali would win, Wladimir it depends I think people will say he got kid 3 times but this was before he found his style with Manny. Even then though I have him losing to Foreman, if he made past 8 though I give him a chance
If we're talking all Bowe at his absolute best versus either Klitschko at his absolute best, I think Bowe matches up extremely well with both, particularly Wladimir. But there are a lot of variables, that always surface with these kind of imaginary dream fight scenarios.
atsch Either one destroys GEORGE . better in every ****ing way dispite the nonsense spewed here ?:deal
:good BOWE at his best was simply to limited . Easy to hit and hurt . Not a good combination when matched with either brother .
I thought this thread was about Foreman, who I think would stand a much better chance than Bowe against either brother, particularly Wlad.
"Eastern European Communst Bloc Soviet Fighters oppressed by evil US imperialism, too big, too strong..." and so on and so forth. If I'm not mistaken Big George was all of 19 years old when he TKO2d' the Klitschko-sized Ionas Chepulis in Mex.D.F. to win the 1968 Olympic Gold medal. Ionas Chepulis had stopped 3 guys in a row to get to the Gold round (a Brit, an East German, and a Mexican), was 29 years old and was representing the Soviet Union at the peak of it's power. I'm thinking he was probably in his prime and well motivated. You think he hadn't been working and training with the best resources (not to mention science) available to the mighty Soviet Union for many years to reach that particular fight for an Olympic Gold Medal against a representative of the USA? To quote Slim Pickens: "This is it fellas, nuclear combat toe to toe w/the Russkies". And the result? TKO2 mother****ers! Prime Big George Foreman KTFO both Klits on the same night. Viva El TKO2!! :bbb
Well? I'm waiting for one of our better educated members to correct me here. Or could it be that the whole "Golden era is BS because there were no Eastern European fighters " argument is nothing but wishful thinking?
