Put your money on Foreman and you are going to bank. Foreman would be a nightmare for Tyson.

foreman is too slow for tyson, and too crude and wild, tyson would work the body alot, forman never fought anyone with the speed and ferocity of a young tyson. just cos he beat frazier dont mean anything. 2 completley different styles! but the way forman is he would always have a shot against anyone. but i far prefer tyson.

I started a poll that was open for three days about prime Foreman vs prime Tyson. Tyson won the poll by 99-56 I believe.

If Foreman is allowed to push Tyson off like he did Frazier then he winds easily. Tyson never did cope too well with being manhandled and a lot of his speed and power was dependant on him being on balance.

If Foreman isn't allowed to push him then it becomes a closer affair....but personally I'll edge towards Foreman. I always thought he was a wee bit faster than he's given credit for and he could be remarkably accurate. Plus his ability to just punch through an opponents guard wouldn't hurt either.

Also got a proven ability to get up and win, something Tyson never did.

I'd always favor Foreman. Tyson had difficulties with bigger guys who could physically manhandle him (pushing, holding, wrestling). He beat those guys in his prime, but none of them were Foreman's level. Foreman also had the jab and the sheer power to crack Tyson's chin.

Prime Foreman and prime Tyson were both at around 217-220. So he wouldn't get manhandled the way Frazier did. Let's keep in mind that Frazier physically was very weak (he couldn't even push 170 pounds over his head). Foreman is way too slow with his looping windmill punches, Tyson would hit him three times while Foreman still loads up. Tyson is miles above Ron Lyle and Lyle almost had Foreman outta there.

It would look like Foreman vs Frazier II. George would just keep throwing uppercuts until he hit the jackpot.........look at what Danny Williams done to Tyson. Foreman TKO7........

foreman was also much stronger than tyson physically and would seek to clinch if tyson got inside which wouldn't have served tyson at all

Mike was too fast, George too stationary a target. Tyson also had a granite jaw, Foreman's vaunted power wouldn't be as effective vs him in single punches. Tyson would KO Big George imo.
