Galento was dangerous.. but stylistically this is the wrong match for him. I imagine George Foreman ends it sooner rather than later

Could go either way. Galento was really good at punching with taller fighters and Galento wouldn’t let himself get muscled around like Frazier did. Galento had the style and power to stop Foreman, but on the other hand if Foreman manages to land some clean uppercuts Galento would get stopped.

    Breathtaking evaluation of this fight!

Man what could happen if Tony fought Joe Frazier??

Galento did say that he liked fighting taller fighters than shorter fighters because they were bigger targets and thus harder to miss.

I'm not the one that constantly needs a spotlight on me with a sign saying hey look at me I need constant attention so I'll just keep posting ridiculous matchups that everyone and there brother knows the out come. Perhaps your a middle child and never got the attention you felt you deserved??
Either way you do the same dumb #### every day and your obviously seeking any kind of attention you can get be it positive or negative just as long as your out there...If you have Aetna or BC&BS please call the 1 800 number and tell them your an attention seeking alcoholic and cant help yourself.

Galento is tailor made for Foreman.

You don't want to be tailor made for Foreman!

Galento was a tough nut and he would need to be, as he would be the heavybag that Foreman would be exploding his punches upon.

If Galento took the approach of using methods not in the the Queensberry rules, i have no doubt Mr Foreman would return the favour with much added interest.

I have respect for Galento, any 5'9' fatboy who could put Louis on seat of his pants in a Championship bout i tip my hat too, so he had a punch but just see the mess his face was after only 4 rounds with Louis, battered into defeat, a defensive genius Galento was not, Foreman would not have to seek his victim.

Foreman, shorty after the stare down. KO 1. Possibly Ko 2. I can't see Galento making the top 10 today. Heck, many garden variety undefeated heavyweights on the way up would beat him. Yet he was ranked #1 in his time.

Galento was far from Lyle in my opinion. Jose King Roman was out in about 2 minutes. He had no business being in that ring. Roman would end his career being Ko'd 11 times.
