Bad match up for Frazier. His cross defense would make him a sitting duck in there. Mikes hand speed and uppercuts under Fraziers guard would do him in early. Frazier comes str8 forward without taking a backwards step. He does not have the defense or speed of a Holyfield to get through Mikes initial bombard.

Atlas didn't mess up Tysons' head. :-(
Tyson groped Atlas' 11 year old niece so Atlas put a gun to Tysons head and told him never to do that again. Upon hearing this D'Amato threw Atlas out.

Thats why Mike became so ****ed up mentally because at an early age he was given signs by Cus and those around him that he could do whatever the **** he wanted so long as became a good boxer.
He had no discipline and wasn't given any boundaries by D'Amato.

I think this would be a hell of a fight. I give the edge to Tyson who would perhaps stop Frazier in the middle session of the fight.

Frazier simply does not have the physical tools to hold Mike off.

He would be in trouble from the start and would not recover.

    Tyson by KO/TKO.

These are my two favourite HWs of all time and we are being a little unfair to Joe here by taking him from his era , if Joe had the modern training facilities / knowledge that Mike had he would have been much bigger and stronger. If Joe gets through the first three rounds he eventually wears Mike down ( assuming Joe is transposed to the late 80s ! )

  9. It seems to be that Cus was more concerned about Tyson the fighter, than Tyson as a person..
After Cus died is when Mike went off the deep end and started to self destruct..

Bobby Stewart was the first person to teach boxing skills to Mike Tyson. He is the one who introduced Tyson to Cus.

Tyson doesnt do well when fighters press him, Holyfield,Lewis,Buster,Mcbride, all went at Tyson all of them took him apart, Fraziers left Hook turns Tysons lights out.

A journeyman lhw Doug Jones almost beat a primer version of Ali (Cassius Clay) but that doesn't mean he beats Tyson.

Frazier only lost to Ali and Foreman but those are the only great HW he fought. And he lost 2X to each of them!
