Prime Frank Bruno V Prime Danny Williams

danny's a hard hard, stupidly brave man but frank was a class above him with serious power and only lost to very good and great fighters. bruno KO6.

 

A prime Frank Bruno would KO Danny Williams. How can anyone even define what a prime Danny Williams even is, he is so inconsistent, it all depends on how he feels when he wakes up on the morning of the fight.
I would definately be backing Frank to stop Danny inside 8 rounds. Having said that, Danny has the talent and based on his best ever performances, he does have the power and skill to stop Frank, but mentally the man is weak.

I'd have to back Bruno too...I just don't see Danny hanging around long enough for Bruno's puff to give out, he'd go wading in and take a bit too much leather in return.

Wouldn't back Bruno to win every time, though. Danny's a decent banger and would be after that chin, Frank would need the jab pumping.

 

Is there such thing as Prime Danny Williams?

He was all over the place with his form and fitness in his career.


I gotta say though for some reason Danny Williams was and probably still is one of my favourite heavies of this era. I dont know just liked him.

 

Arran this is a **** poll. Bruno probably sparred with better than Danny.

Williams would start staggering all over the place as soon as Bruno landed :yikes.

 

Bruno produced his best performances whilst sparring.

Very few people left his gym without the aid of an ambulance - yet he froze on the biggest stage, especially against Tyson and to a lesser extent Lennox Lewis.
