Someone said on another thread that Tyson would beaten Tua in 1996 because he iced Bruno but I feel at that stage Tua would destroyed Bruno, am I missing something?

This would end in an McCall thriller, Bruno fighting hard to survive the last rounds. Tua could very will finish him there, otherwise I see Bruno win a decision.

Tua`s punches were way better than McCalls and far faster.

Bruno was too long for a short and slow fighter who was limited by skill.

This is a fairly even match-up. Tua could catch him and stop him, that is quite possible. Not the most likely outcome, in my mind but certainly possible. Bruno should be able to take a comfortable decision if he does not get reckless.

Nope, I don't think you're missing anything. Tua catches him and KO's him, mid rounds.

Byrd was a level above Bruno in the out-boxing department, and Bruno's chin would only need one good crack.

I actually like Tua in this one. Every fight that Bruno was in the question was always can he go 12 rounds without getting caught or getting tired .And a lot of times the answer was no

The mythical Tua sure is a lot better than the actual one.

That is a possibility! It is also quite possible that the 4 guys who stopped Bruno were....juuuusssstttt a little bit better than Tua. 5x’s he was stopped...5x’s Tua lost by decision. I think this could go either way, but favor a Bruno decision

But Bruno didn`t have the footwork of Lewis to keep out of range and wouldn`t be able to take Tua`s power.

Smith got caught by a lot of shots by Frank and Tua had faster hands than Frank, I think Smith would have spoiled and clinched well vs Tua like he did v Tyson, he was wide open v Frank.

The mythical Bruno was far better than the actual one also and Tua`s power was no myth.
