I guess you missed the part where I said "you can spin a fighter's record anyway you want" right?

I think part of the problem is there have been so many British Heavyweight failures in history that they have to pump up a guy like Bruno that lost just about every time he stepped up in competition. Bruno in the grand scheme of things is about equal to an Oliver McCall, Hasim Rahman etc. type Heavyweight maybe not even that good. He was a decent Heavyweight and nothing more.

Which is exactly what I said in many previous posts in this exact thread. These guys are pumping Bruno up as if he's on the same level as Klitschko :-(

So essentially you were just talking nonsense for the sake of it?

No matter how you spin it, Wlad is going to find it very hard to ever get near Lennox's legacy. The two biggest wins out there are Haye and Vitali, Wlad should be hoping that Haye wins and he gets the chance to beat him, otherwise there's nobody else out there that really improves his resume much.

    Maybe this will help:

    Lewis > Brewster

    Brewster > McCall

How would beating Haye who has beat NOBODY at Heavyweight or really NOBODY at all when you look at it a "resume" fight for Wlad or even Vitali?

The guy has done NOTHING and is not and will NEVER be a legacy fight for anyone at Heavyweight.

Nope, he's done nothing to elevate himself above someone like McCall, he's about level with him in my opinion.

Of course it suits the Klit-ites to elevate him into superstardom because it suits the agenda, we're all used to that line of spin though. It's the same with Sanders, he must be great because he beat WALDO :nut

How can you say that when many of Wlad's victims are still fighting? :huh

Let's say Wlad beats Povetkin, Valuev, Haye & Arreola. Meanwhile Vitali retires leaving the WBC belt for the 2 highest contenders to fight for.

Then WK beats that guy unifing all the belts.

    Then Wlad retires.

Povetkin, Haye, Solis or Arreola go on to rule the division in the wake of WK's retirement.

That would tend to give more value to wins over those guys wouldn't it?

    Be honest...................

The HW division is SO **** that the undisputed cruiserweight champion stepping up now becomes the BIGGEST scalp in the division.

    It's sad, but true.

definitely not a Klitschko but a Ron Lyle, Earnie Shavers, Leotis Martin type. In a weak era: could be a champ. In a strong era: a solid contender

If it helps I think McCall is on level with Sanders & Rahman. :thumbsup
