After watching some Youtube last night I realised their styles were pretty similar.

    Who wins, why and how?

Look at what Foreman did to him and Foreman is slow. Tyson early.

Well, there is always the "well Frazier were born the same year as Tyson he'd be bigger" stuff, but all that aside, Frazier only ever lost to top three or four (in my opinion) fighters and I'm not so quick to say that because Tyson destroyed mediocre guys that he'd destroy Frazier. The Foreman example is a little out of bounds because he had a totally different skill set than Tyson and was able to push and bully Frazier. Tyson was a lot more of an in and out fighter and unless you're Ali then Frazier's defense was pretty decent from the outside.

Like someone else said, if it ends early it's Tyson, but Frazier has a big chance to outwork Tyson.

'88 Tyson vs. '71 Frazier? Can't we see this on a simulation somewhere?

I don't think their styles are similar.

Frazier bobs more but is a purely one dimensional fighter - a pure left hooker. Frazier's stamina is much better.

Tyson moves side to side more, with much better jabs and straight right hand. Tyson has better chin too.

Prime Frazier is 205 lbs and is no taller than Tyson.

I see Tyson KOing Joe within 4 rounds.

The Joe Frazier that beat Muhammad Ali runs the Tyson that kayoed Spinks out of the ring. No one ever put on Tyson the kind of pressure that Frazier brought .
Joe fought at top level of the greatest heavyweight era ever from 1966 to 1976, losing only to Ali and Foreman. Tyson beat some so -so guys and lost to flash in the pan Buster Douglas. Joe would have chewed Tyson up .
