Gerald McCellan vs Murderer Row of 1940s middleweight Charley Burley, Lloyd Marshall, Holman Williams, Herbert "Cocoa Kid" Lewis Hardwick, Jack Chase, Eddie Booker, Aaron Wade, and Bert Lytell. Could McClellan make it undefeated?
I don’t think so. That’s a tough lineup to go through. Sugar Ray Robinson himself most likely wouldn’t make it through this lineup undefeated.
He would be doing very well if he won a third of his fights against them ,and I very much doubt he would.
They all box him silly he’s more in the size range of Jimmy Bivins… who would make it one sided as hell.
McClellan was quite the boxer, at one time being one of the best pound for pound in the world. And he could crack.
The Black Murderers Row is literally filled with dudes that are the same/above the level of SRR,broken puncher,or both,no way McClellan will go out alive.
